Merlo J. Pusey, a former editorial writer for the Washington Post, is the author of the Pulitzer Prize winning biography of Charles Evans Hughes.

William E Swindler is the editor of the Yearbook and a professor emeritus at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.

Melvin I. Urofsky is a professor of history at Virginia Commonwealth University.
